A 2012 NVCTI WORKSHOP OFFERING:
The Living Energy of Needs
Practical Applications for Everyday Life using Nonviolent Communication
- Saturday, June 30 - Saturday, July 7, 2012
- Loveland, Colorado, USA (52 miles north of Denver, CO) at the Sunrise Ranch.
- Facilitators:
Robert Gonzales, Susan Skye, Wes Taylor, Jeff Brown
"The Living Energy of Needs" supports the ongoing development of foundational Nonviolent Communication (NVC) skills and consciousness. In addition to supporting core NVC skills, we have continued to develop our training over the past five years to help participants practically access and live from a deeper dimension of needs. We weave the experience of the living energy of needs throughout the training, as the core dimension from which we learn and live the NVC process. (Overview of training ...)
This 7-day training can be applied towards the minimum of 50 days required as part of the process for Trainer Certification through the Center for Nonviolent Communication. (Note: it does not alone qualify participants for certification).
Three members of our training team have been directly involved with the Center's certification program over the years, including as Assessors, mentors and Certification Coordinator for North America.

Since 1945, Sunrise has stewarded the land and water as a sustainable ranch and farm. This natural setting—a valley surrounded by red sandstone and pine-covered hills—has been a place of tranquility, reflection and learning.
Throughout Sunrise’s history, individuals and groups have come here to move to a different rhythm, to see their lives and their work with new eyes, and to bring fresh energy to their world.
Sunrise Ranch is known as a place for learning, reflection, and transformation. The programs held here include time for deep stillness and relaxation, and inspired, leading-edge thought and experience. Everything about Sunrise supports this work—the natural setting, wholesome food, and most of all, the resident staff.
