Directions to Seehotel Schwalten

The venue is located close to a lake with a beautiful mountain view (Allgäuer Alpen). The main building was built in 1920 and was completely renovated in 1998 offering up-to-date comfort in historic rooms. The property is expansive with many possibilities to go for a walk during breaks and to find secluded places for regeneration or private talks. It includes a fire pit, beach volley ball, a boat rental service and an island in the lake which is accessible by a wooden bridge. A path leading all around the lake starts right at the property. 

Single, Double and 3/4 bedrooms are available, all with a bathroom, some with balcony or terrace. The meeting rooms are spacious, built with high quality materials and filled with daylight. Internet access is available in several places of the venue. 

In the area you will find many possibilities for walking and hiking in October. If you can schedule an extra day in the area you might enjoy a visit to one of the two world-famous castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau which are only a 30 minute drive away.

  • Six full days of training, October 26 - 31,

  • Grand Finale event on Saturday, October 31, 7:30-10:00pm
  • Breakfast on Sunday, November 1 is the final meal served
  • Check-out and departure on the morning of Sunday, November 1

Note: Please arrange your travel to arrive no later than the first session at 7:30pm on Sunday, October 25 and to stay until the end of the final session of the workshop at 10:00pm on Saturday, October 31. Your full participation contributes to your own learning experience and to the experience of community for all.

We request full payment of tuition at the time of registration. Your seat in the training is not reserved until we receive a deposit of 300 €.

Lodging is for six days and seven nights and includes bedding and towels. Price includes all meals, drinking water (cold and hot) and fresh fruit during the breaks. Tasty vegetarian food is served buffet style (on request meat and fish are also served for only 2,50 € extra per dish).

Please bring warm, waterproof clothing for nature walks. If you want to use your own computer please bring the right adaptor for the power plug used in your country to make it fit German sockets.  

Please book your room directly with Gerlinde Clar (Accommodations Organizer), not with the venue.


PAYMENT INFORMATION

  • All payments are to be made in Euros (€).
  • Tuition is to be paid online using PayPal. Please use this link or send PayPal payments directly to nvcinfo@basileia.org.
    • A minimum 300 € deposit will reserve your place.
    • You will receive a confirmation e-mail when we receive your deposit.
    • All subsequent refunds are subject to a 100 € non-refundable administrative fee. 
    • If full payment is not received by 11-Oct-09, then the “Rush Rate” will apply (150 € more than the Standard Rate) even if you requested the "Early Bird" or Standard rate.
  • Room and board is to be paid directly to Gerlinde Clar (Accommodations Organizer) upon arrival. She is willing to accept cash or direct bank debit (bank collection authorization - EU countries only).
